Lazlo Pendergast

Description:
Bio:

Born on May 25, 1913 in Lancashire, England, Lazlo Pendergast is a world renowned philosopher, non-fiction writer, and essayist, whose alternative histories draw comparison, positive and negative, to the works of modern New Age writers such as Erich von Daniken and, more recently, Zecharia Sitchin. His work predates the current wave of authors by two to three decades, however, and was considered way ahead of its time, as well as significantly more bleak in tone. He is best known as the father of Cosmicism, a philosophical movement. His most notable works include Gods and Monsters, Cosmicism, The Children of Thule, When the Stars are Right, and, most recently, Cold Comforts: An Autobiography. When not promoting his writing or touring the international lecture circuit, he teaches History, Philosophy, and Comparative Religion at Oxford University.
